Today I’m going to be showing you how to make energy balls. Energy balls are great for a mid-afternoon snack or pre-workout to give you a much-needed boost of energy.
It’s usually around mid-afternoon that we start feeling like we need a little pick-me-up to get us through the rest of the day. A lot of snacks sold in stores are filled with sugar which isn’t healthy at all. The last thing you want is to fill yourself up with unhealthy ingredients which will cause your body to crash afterwards.
Another disadvantage of store-bought snacks is the amount of sugar they include. That being said, the next time you crave a mid-afternoon snack, consider energy balls which are a much healthier option.
There’s a lot of great benefits to energy balls, one of the main being that they require minimal ingredients making it super easy to do with ingredients you most likely already have at home. Vegan-friendly, gluten free and no baking required, they are the perfect snack to carry when you’re on the go.
The most important thing to consider when making energy balls is to have a good food processor. A lot of the ingredients that go into making energy balls require lots of blending.
Once you’ve processed all the ingredients in the food processor, you can roll them into little balls. These make a great breakfast or mid-afternoon snack. Natural ingredients with no added sugar make it a healthy snack option.
